About Us

  • On a remote Pacific island, 1,600 miles from the nearest continent, equatorial trade winds purify the clouds that begin FIJI Water’s journey through one of the world’s last virgin ecosystems. As tropical rain falls on a pristine rain forest, it filters through layers of volcanic rock, slowly gathering the natural minerals and electrolytes that give FIJI Water its soft, smooth taste. The water collects in a natural artesian aquifer, deep below the Earth’s surface, shielded from external elements by confining layers of impermeable rock. Natural pressure forces the water towards the surface, where it’s bottled at the source, free from human contact until you unscrew the cap. Perfected by nature. Untouched by man. The Nature of Water™.

  • Earth's Finest Water

FIJI Water was founded in 1996 out of the desire to share the earth’s finest water with the world.  Today, it is available in leading hotels, fine restaurants, retail locations, as well as by direct delivery. As a leading export of the Fiji Islands, FIJI Water is now the number one imported bottled water in the United States and is enjoyed in over 50 countries across the globe.

FIJI Water is committed to doing business responsibly and seeking meaningful opportunities to make a difference.  That means investing in its communities and the environment and focusing its efforts around meaningful issues with like-minded partners to enable positive change.

  • FIJI Water Foundation

Launched in 2007, the FIJI Water Foundation is a charitable trust funded and supported by the owners, employees and corporate affiliates of FIJI Water.  The FIJI Water Foundation is one of the largest philanthropic organizations in Fiji and has focused its efforts and investments on three priority areas of development:  (1) providing clean water access to rural communities; (2) building educational facilities and infrastructure that benefit children, teenagers and adults; and (3) providing access to healthcare services to underprivileged communities.  Additionally, the Foundation offers disaster relief during floods and severe weather events that frequently impact the islands.

To date, the Foundation has funded projects touching hundreds of thousands of lives across the Fijian islands.

  • Conservation International

FIJI Water has cultivated a long-term partnership with Conservation International, a leading environmental organization, with whom we have been working to preserve the purity and biological wealth of the Fijian Islands. A chief project in this effort has been the conservation of Fiji’s largest remaining unprotected rain forest, the Sovi Basin. By supporting the Conservation International team in this landmark project, FIJI Water has played a key role in establishing a long-term conservation lease for approximately 40,000 acres of rain forest land. Preventing future logging and degradation of the Sovi Basin will not only produce significant environmental benefits, but will also have positive socioeconomic impact on local communities.

FIJI Water has also been working with Conservation International on a large-scale reforestation project in Fiji to restore a total of 2,800 acres of degraded grasslands on the island of Viti Levu. Aside from long-term environmental benefits, this project will also create jobs and income for local communities. The planting of native tree seedlings will prevent soil erosion, provide watershed protection and expand critical habitats for endangered species, while the planting of hardwood timber like teak and mahogany, as well as sandalwood species, will generate future income sources for local communities.
